(February 4, 2019, 5:14 am)Super Nachos, Carne Asada Burritos, Carnitas Tacos, Rolled Beef Tacos inside an unassuming AM/PM convenience store. All the usual Taco Shop offerings. Pricier than other places but the portions are good. Self serve salsa bar, pickled carrots and jalapenos. Try the fried chilies squirted with lime juice and sprinkled in salt. Get your taste buds going by biting into that first. Shame there is no place to sit and dine (the two exposed red metal tables in front of the AM/PM do not count). Love the staff. Conveniently located right off I-78 Nordahl exit.

(January 1, 2019, 5:23 am)We are NorCal transplants to Escondido. Our kids introduced us to California Burritos from Jilberto's. Oh wow! We love them!!! So tasty, full of carne asada and really big. Worth every penny.
