Ali Baba Mediterranean Cuisine of Escondido

Food was good quality. We had 4 of us and got a feast for two, a salad and a falafel plate and shared amongst us. Turned out to be just the right amount of food and we all left satisfyingly full. Service was friendly and fast. We sat at a quiet booth and were able to have a friendly adult conversation with little source of interruption.

About time I leave a Google review for this place. We have been regulars here for over a year now and always find the food and service impeccable. This has to be the best place in San Diego to have Mediterranean food - their chicken plates and sandwiches are our favorites. The staff is very friendly and the place has great ambience. If they can also offer a rewards program for their regulars, that'll be icing on the cake. Five Stars and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

First time here. Appreciated cultural music, portion sizes, price. Saturday at 1:00 pm not real busy. Interesting yogurt drink, Shaneena... salty, sour, cool. Creamy hummus, warm bread and cool salad. We shared the Family Meal for 2. Plenty to take home.

Really enjoy the Mediterranean food here . The salad dressing which was pink in color was to die for. Plentiful amount of any entree and I'm especially addicted to their puffy Lavash type bread. I can't explain it but it's hot and delicious, you have to try it!! It's so airy and light, great with hummus or alone with your meal. We ordered the big sampler plate for two and it was big!! Bring your appetite!!????????

Out of all Mediterranean restaurants I have been to in the United States this one comes in at second place for the food, but first place for the San Diego area! The food is seasoned nicely along with the presentation was great. The staff is very nice and helpful so there is no mistakes when ordering. The restaurant has the space for large groups as well. It is a lot of food for the price. Definitely will be coming back with friends and family to eat.
