    My friend recommended this place and I use to live in Escondido and had never been here before. We did a wine tasting elsewhere and wanted a small bite before a concert at Escondido Performing Arts Center so she suggested this place. As soon as I entered the door and saw the crowd I felt it was a good choice. I ordered the Chicken Soup the highly rated item on the menu. My friend got a traditional 2 item combo meal. We both enjoyed the food and the "green salsa". Her meal was so big she took 1/2 of it home! So if want a lot of food this is a great choice and my soup was very good!! I would return here for sure.

    Always go for the soup and their delicious- -not-too-spicy-salsa. Their soup is very simple compared to the traditional Mexican soup but doesnt stop me from going. I have yet to try other items on the menu

    THE BEST chicken soup in town, hands down!!! A family recipe...chicken rice soup with your choice of onion, cliantro & avocado (or all three) plus, your choice flour or corn tortillas (chips are extra) A little hole in the wall, this place was buzzing with business! Full dining room, full lobby and the phone rang off the hook!!! Highly recommend! We'll definitely be back!

    Mexican food... my preferred treat. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. The place has an awesome feel to it.

    My favorite location for mexican food. Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. Will surely make a return trip. Prices are reasonable I would say. I can see why they have so many great reviews.
