The Broken Yolk Cafe

I always get great service here. I live close by and work late so I often get here near to when they are closing. I realize for most places they get annoyed when you do that. Here the staff is always friendly and never makes me feel bad. They seem to go out of there way for their customers so I'll keep coming back (and leaving a nice tip). Thanks guys!

By far the best restaurant service I've ever had! Since it was a Saturday and I knew they'd be busy, I called ahead to see if they took reservations. I spoke with Nick, who I assume is the manager that was on at the time( I say that because when we got there he looked to be the one in charge and he never slowed down lol) He was very friendly and informed me they don't do reservations but they do call ahead seating. So I put our name down for 11am. It was me, my friend, and our two daughters and we needed 2 high chairs. Nick informed me they would be able to accommodate us and put me down for 11. My friend got there first and the hostess said they didn't have my name down. I arrived and went in to go see what the issue was and before I could say anything Nick jumped in and greeted me with a smile and said we have your table ready! Perfect, just a miscommunication but he took care of it :) We sit down and our server Alexis came right over to take our drink order. He was super friendly and checked on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was good and our drinks were always refilled. I also want to mention that Kyle was also very friendly and hard working. He wasn't our server, but he ran out our food and he is probably one of the few servers to not put the hot plates right in front of my daughter. As a mother I really appreciated that, and he even warned us ahead of time to be careful of the hot plate. He was very friendly to our daughters as well. The food was excellent and I definitely will be back for more. Great service and delicious food!

Broken Yolk has the best breakfast in Escondido. It is awesome and conveniently located in the Westfield Mall - next to 24-hour fitness. The servers were all so friendly and the stuffed french toast is amazing. It is my new go to spot for the best brunch in Escondido. So happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Can't wait to go back!

THE BEST BREAKFAST IN ESCONDIDO HANDS DOWN. Might even be the best breakfast in all of San Diego County! Had breakfast there last week with some friends, and everything was awesome. I got the pumpkin pancakes from the holiday menu and they were seriously so amazing. 10/10 would recommend that everyone should go! Also had some mimosas and a Bloody Mary that were awesome! If you're looking for some real good breakfast in Escondido this is the place to be!!!

Had reservations at 10:45 for a group of 11 and got seated right away. The waitress was very attentive and 2 other employees I think they were the managers wearing black helped as well. It definitely was the best service experience we’ve had in a long time. Great start to a Saturday morning. We all left super happy. Thank you!
