    When the hubby is good, I treat him to a beef rib from this place. I love the staff, they are really friendly and the place is clean.

    First time here! Excellent service and food was really good. They were out of brisket so definitely have to go back to try it. Sides are generous and really good.

    This is the "Best Rib Dive on 395!" The best BBQ I've had here in California! The ribs don't even need a sauce! But the sauces are both very tasty and compliment the ribs nicely. I got a side of okra and it was fried to perfection. I've also had the catfish sandwich, which is fillets with a spicy slaw on top and had a very good bun. There is a nice outdoor dining area too. The decor on the inside makes it look like a shack thats where the nickname comes from.

    The BEST ribs around AND their peach cobbler IS THE BEST!!! I ordered 1/2 a sheet for Thanksgiving. The crust alone is to die for. They make it out of oatmeal and it is so moist and just melts in your mouth. Their portion sizes are fabulous and I always get the okra extra crispy. You can't go wrong ordering anything off the menu here everything is yummy!

    The food not only smells great but also tastes awesome. They have outdoor eating. The smoker is going and you can smell the meat 1 mile away. The cost is pretty good.
