    If you're looking to indulge in some quality Italian pasta then look no further. This restaurant, while located on a main street, can easily be overlooked. There aren't bright flashing lights, no giant billboards with amazing deals conveyed in the windows, and the building is a little dark and set back. But what this place does have is food that tickles the taste buds, an atmosphere of old world charm that welcomes you, tells you to sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks with friends and family you haven't seen in a while.

    If you live near by and have yet to enjoy this hidden jem then I highly recommend you stop by and you will find a place that will keep you coming back.

    Among the deals here is the dinner that includes pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, ravioli, and salad. Is more than enough for two people and has a little taste of everything.

    The wait staff are friendly and diligent. My cup was never empty for long and I felt that if the food didn't bring me back the service would have.

    A great place for a first date or date night. Everyone will leave with a full stomach and a smile.

    Very tasty dishes all with their own unique flavors. Everything is fresh and food is served hot. Really great service here as well. My family enjoys our meals at Ottavio's and we enjoy taking other people here for the first time. And the free bread is excellent!

    This is a small cozy restaurant with really good food. The service is very good and the staff is always warm and inviting. The menu has a good selection of great tasting food and the bread they serve is some.of the best in San Diego. Definitely worth trying.

    6 or 7 stars not available? Best Italian food in East County San Diego. My favorite place to go on Friday nights. Top notch food and service. Can not think of a family owned/run biz that I like to support more.

    I went there again with my family last Sunday and the food was excellent! I have been several times in the past and it is always superb. The pastas are fresh and very tasty (not your Olive Garden type of pasta.) Very large portions as well. We always get a pizza as well and it was delicious!! I definitely recommend this place
