Anita's Mexican Restaurant and Cantina - Coast Hwy

You want authentic Mexican food and drinks... this is a must have. Locals know that Anita's is a family restaurant with a couple locations. What you need to know is everything is different from one to the next.

Each Anita's is unique as a tortilla.

My wife and I split the Fajitas and it's plenty for 2. Good portions and fair prices and great service.

Good but not that great. Great service by the waitress, a nice old Mexican lady, but the ladies in the front were a bit snobby. Food wasn't all that but it was alright. I had menudo and it wasn't so great. The other food ordered by my son and husband looked good. A bit of a long wait. We seen some empty tables in patio area and we asked if we can just sit there so we don't have to wait half an hour and they said no, same amount of wait so we waited. Other than that, a bit loud but didn't bother me.

Great Mexican restaurant. Has a standard selection of beers. With regards to the food- the portions are huge and the prices fair. Also, some of the waitresses and hostesses are very nice. Great place to eat with friends and family.

This place was awesome! The happy hour had some great deals and the mango margarita was quite delicious same goes for the nachos and campechana. I highly recommend coming here for some good food. The staff was super friendly and hospitable and did I mention the food was great?

The atmosphere was cool. The margaritas were really good. I personally didn't care for the food and our waitress crawled into the seat with me to talk to the table behind me.... kinda weird. but I don't regret trying the resturant.
