That Boy Good

That Boy Average. Nothing to drive out of the way for. Im not a big Phil's BBQ fan but I prefer Phil's to TBG. They do however have amazing dirty fries, which is their saving grace, and their prices are below average. Chairs and tables are rickety so maybe order take out.

Food is good, portions are good, bbq is tasty and priced fair. Dirty fries with brisket blow any carne asada fries out of the water. Plus it's attached to northern pines brewery so you can grab a pretty darn good beer too.

Californians, once again, must not know the true meaning of a good bbq. They rather rave at the ambience of the location, or how nice the employees are.
Folks, that brisket was dry as hell and that cornbread was tasteless. The tri tip totally got lost in that mediocre chili. I will give the Mac n cheese some cred.
Boy.. that’s it. It ain’t that good.
I expect soul, blasts of flavor, heat and sweetness and the wonderful taste of an excellent rub at BBQ joints. I don’t find that in this place.
There are other places to go to. But here it seems y’all are easily convinced.
