Mandarin

This is my favorite place to eat in North County. Mandarin is a family takeout that has been here for years (if not decades), they are extremely polite and friendly, and their food is excellent. While their selection is not as vast as other places, they do have a lot of the most common Chinese takeout stapels, their prices are more than fair and on average they give you enough food for multiple meals. My usual order is a Special #3 two entrée meal (choice from a list), and a choice of rice or noodles or half and half, all for around $6 dollars. I also order a large side of their pork fried rice, it is second to none, and I recommend it. They offer delivery, however the Specials are typically excluded as delivery options. They're right across from Oside High and Panda Express is in the same lot. Steer clear of Panda, get Mandarin and order it over the phone so its ready when you get there. You'll thank me.

We beating here now and again over the years. Never had a bad experience and we find it to be a great value for a dinner meal that we share.

The facility is clean and the staff has always been amicable and you cannot beat the price for fresh cooked to go Chinese food.

Great service, great prices. You definitely get more than what you pay for and it is good quality. Panda heaven is messy service with everyone scrambling with drive through. Mandarin is very good with getting your order correct and fast! Good food.
