Overall really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and drinks at this place. We bought tortillas to take home too since they were really awesome.

This place is more of an American style to tacos and actually were pretty good.

I do wish the salsa they provide was more spicy!!!!!

The breakfast tacos are exceptional and they have the formula down. Delicious homemade tortillas, good fillings and excellent mean green hot sauce. Very welcoming environment and friendly professional staff. I moved to Oceanside four years ago from South Texas and I’ve been looking for breakfast tacos since. So glad to have found this amazing place!

Their homemade tortillas are so delicious! Loved the breakfast tacos. I also had the spicy frozen paloma and it was awesome. The staff were attentive and nice. Can’t wait to go back for lunch!

Oh my goodness!!! 😍 such a beautiful atmosphere and their food! The Chicano Batman taco and chicken breakfast taco are DELICIOUS! I’ve never had Tex-Mex before and now I know what I’ve been missing! The flavors are amazing and more robust than traditional Mexican food. I highly recommend HomeState! The workers are helpful and friendly, please show them kindness as they did just recently open. The line to get in took about 20/25 minutes but it was well worth it!! They even offer umbrellas so you can have some shade while you wait! We will be back!! 🫶

My apologies I meant to leave this review earlier. HomeState… I love you. The tacos were awesome and I’m so excited to have Mexican food with a lot of vegetarian options right next door. The food is clean, fresh, and tasty. We all miss Red & White but I’m happy to see life back in the building. Five stars!
