Bottom line, KNVS is a great place to see local art (and buy if you're feeling it), as well as sip good cocktails and grab a nibble.
Service - The service was good. I would say it was exactly what should be expected. We were visiting because our friends own a rum distillery and they got their rum on the menu (Clever Fox, you should check them out). The bartender and server were both polite, but we did have to remind the bartender of our second drink order.
Noise/Sound - The music was good. Pleasant volume and good selection.
Food/Taste - I ordered the Poutine and my wife ordered the Veggie Ratatouille. Both were delicious and good portion sizes.
Drinks - We only drank the Foxtails. Initially because we wanted to support our friends, then ordered seconds because they were very good.
Price - The cost was fair. I'd say they're right on par with what you'd expect (generally speaking) and on par with everything in the area.
Will we return to KNVS in the future? If we lived closer we'd come often, but will likely only return if meeting others in Oceanside.
I had a fantastic experience. Not only does the place beautifully showcase art that can be bought but the drinks were an art in themselves. Thanks to our amazingly talented bartender Rico, we had some of the best drinks we’ve literally ever had. 10/10 would recommend.
An interactive sensory experience featuring local art and amazing food. The bartender was the star of the night-everything was beautiful and tasty with some really surprising combinations. The food matches the art! I’d go back for the duck in a heartbeat. I can’t wait to come back for the next artist.
I just heard about this new place opening up. I love the concept of art paired with food and drinks which changes every few months. I was only grabbing a cocktail this time but I'd love to come back to try the food! I had the dahlia cocktail which was delicious and beautiful: tequila, violet and egg white. I loved the art as well. Definitely check them out!
Love the concept, love the cocktails and love the food. The concept features local artist with menu and cocktail creations inspired by the art. So it is a new experience with every installation. Brilliant!
