SONU BBQ

Supper yummy Korean barbecue, with great selection of meats! We had a good time with friends cooking our meat. We had the short ribs, marinated steak and prime cut. Meat was extremely soft and tasty! We had steamed egg, rice paper, seaweed, corn with cheese. We had plenty of room (COVID times), tables are large/long and there is a button on each table to call the waiter. I don't think there were desserts, I tried a Korean beer/lager, very light and fresh. I don't remember the name but it was a taller bottle maybe a 750 ml. I was pleasant surprised, it was really good!

I haven't had Korean BBQ since college and was craving something all you can eat. Sony BBQ definitely did not disappoint.

COVID stuff: check in on yelp and wait outside for your table. Employees were wearing masks and customers were wearing masks to their table. Everyone was adequately spaced out.

Food: we got brisket, sliced marinated beef (bulgogi), pork belly, shrimp, and some vegetables. Everything was super good and we had several helpings of the brisket. They also had really good sides to break up the meat and help you keep eating more.

Service: service was great, they were super attentive and were right there asking if we wanted more when we were getting low. Offered to replace our grills several time as they were getting messy.

Definitely plan on coming back!

We go here at least once a week. The workers are great and the food is wonderful. The price is worth the amount of food you get. Overall great experience we’ve had each time we go. Definitely recommend!

We had some skepticism about this place but it was very nicely decorated with large tables. The meat was fantastic and you can get 4 plates at a time. We got the premium option for that American Kobe. Pretty nice knowing there is a good local KBBQ place. Soda is from a can, not fountain but that's to be expected. Get your meat on!

Amazing staff, they were all super nice. Very clean place, good meat cuts. The thin sliced pork belly was perfect thickness. I usually eat the meat with their salad (in one bite) to cut the grease. Ask for sliced garlic and toast it on the grill. Our favorite was the bacon wrapped mushroom! ???? We very much enjoyed our dinner. Will definitely be back and with more friends! Thank you!
