Filippi's Pizza Grotto Poway

Filippis gives great generous portions and the toppings on the pizzas are overflowing. Definitely the place to go for dinner or that takeout for a relaxing Saturday night at home watching TV and having the best tasting pizza in North County!

A great family restaurant, and even takeout. The interior has a wonderful theme and asthetics. Friendly staff. And of course. Great pizza.

Do you like cheese? No no... I mean really like cheese? If so, this pizza is solid. And you'll understand what I mean after you see one of these pies.Think of it like a deep dish style without the thick crust. I ordered a medium and it lasts for 3 meals.

Our first visit, and this place is adorable. Old Italian family-style dining with hanging lights, Italian Colors and hanging keepsake Chianti bottles galore, and the food is fabulous!

It being our first time we tried the famous antipasto salad which lives up to its popularity. We also tried The Works pizza and wow, I haven't had Chicago deep dish style pizza this good since I was a kid. Cheesy and decadent yes, so be prepared!

I never comment on service but I have to say everyone at this Poway location was so friendly and efficient. A feel good place that makes you feel like family.

Great place for couples, families, or even a group of friends. We will be back!

Service was spectacular and very family centric! Pizza was homey. Thick cheese! Environment was fairly dark and difficult to see. But environment was also more quiet and familiar. This place was good and decent, but from our pizza tastes, doesn't align too well (The kids preferred other places and didn't get too far on their pizza slices).
