You know what? You want food? Good food? Go here, you gave to try everything on the menu at least once! Gluten-free Vegan? No problem, get the veggie plate with gluten free injeera and you won't be disappointed. If I had a dollar for every good item I was served here, I would spend it on more of their delicious lentils. The owners are really great and make you feel like family. If you haven't already been it's a must!!
Great Ethiopian cuisine. Went there twice already. Very simple restaurant, high quality food and great service. We went twice there already and will definitely come back. We ordered huge plate with 3 meats and 3 veggies and we like it. They help with choice as well if you are new.
This place is the best! Such good food and awesome customer service! We go there any time we can! Make sure to make resolution for dinner. Always packed with hungry people!
Yes the restaurant is INSIDE the liquor/convenience store. But DON'T let that stop you from experiencing this amazing culinary delight!
The restaurant itself is rather small with only 8 or so tables and really the ambiance could do with a complete make-over but the food OH MY the food! SO good!
We had a group of four and started with the Lentil Sambosa. So good and the dipping sauce is so spicy but so addicting! Then we ordered the Vegetable platter and the meat platter. Holy Moly everything was fantastic. Full of exotic flavors and spices every bite was delectable!
Our waiter was so friendly and really made us feel like family. I highly recommend this hidden gem! Don't let the shabby decor or its locality sway you from trying this restaurant. Will definitely be back again and again and again!
First: don't be intimidated! To get to the restaurant side, you walk past the market, into the dining room with only 8 tables.
The food was delicious, and the waiter was super friendly and helpful. He helped us navigate the menu, and guided us to some amazing lamb and vegetable dishes.
It's very simply decorated, with a TV showing sports, and plastic water cups, but you get a beautiful dish set with all your food on a very mild injera.
