Galaxy Taco

The reviews for this place is what drove us to eat at this place, but we found the food very underwhelming. The worst part of it all was making peace with mediocer tacos that are marketed and priced at a premium. That being said, the service was fantastic - definitely added a star to the original intended rating.

After leaving the house at 5am and traveling to Boston and then San Diego we were happy to find this spot around 2:30 pm after only having a bagel and a bag of chips courtesy of JetBlue (gee, thanks, a six and a half hour flight and here is a bag of chips).

We had a couple of tacos with rice and beans for $17. Excellent homemade blue corn tacos with a variety of mix and match fillings. It hit the spot. Although I should have ordered an another one because I was so hungry. Nice bartender who was very knowledgeable about the beers on tap and various cocktails.

Nice decor, excellent bathrooms. It was kind of empty when we visited in Feb. at 2:30 pm but no doubt the place is hoping at regular dining hours and in season. We'll probably get back there before the trip is over.

Excellent, unique food, cute atmosphere, and housemade corn. Fantastic service to boot! The vegetarian dishes were so flavorful and thoughtful. The tacos were very filling. The salsa was incredible. We will absolutely be back!
