Everything about this place was great. I've come to this mall a lot over the last 7 years and this is by far one of my favorite places. Food is great YES IT'S PRICEY but all of La Jolla is. Love that the employees are diverse. Makes for wonderful customer service. Will be going here even more often. Loved loved loved. My kids and spouse say the milkshakes are the best theyve ever had. I particularly liked the burger and fries also took the chicken burger to go...I didn't particularly care for the herb infused mayo. It was heavy on what I think was oregano....if you're reading this Shake Shack...is dill instead. You won't regret it. I'm attaching a picture of my cool guy with a pretty dope milkstache

First time to try Shake shack. Shakes, drinks, & Fries were good. So, this place stays true to its name. The burgers were tastier good but were a bit expensive for what you get, fries had to be order separate. The place was busy. Not many places to sit due to rain, but when an open seat came up a nice gentleman would wipe down the tables for you before sitting. Service was good and cheery.

Great burgers great fries. Is it better than in n out? Yes and no. In n out, to me, is the best taste to price ratio that you could possibly ask for from any fast food place. Shake shack is quite a bit more expensive, but provides more of a gourmet experience. The burgers are thicker and have more bite to them. The buns (Morton’s potato rolls, shake shack’s success is largely due to these rolls) are incredibly delicious and complement this burger extremely well.

However, the portion sizes are somewhat lacking. Every single time I eat here, it feels like my burger ends two bites too early. ????

Pretty damn good burger. Potato bun goes really with the burger... The bacon is really good... Price... Ummm a bit on the higher side.. $10 for an in and out size burger. But if you want to take friends out who wants a taste of NY... ????‍♂️

So good! It's almost like eating a decadent treat. Every bite of my burger was so flavorful. The meat was cooked so perfectly. I didn't want it to end. The employee who took my order, Ronnie, was very friendly and helpful, even coming by to see if I wanted a refill. The menu was easy to read, and the restaurant was clean.

If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that my soda seemed noticeably more flat than I'm used to. And sure, the cost is a little higher than I would like it to be for a burger that you walk up and order and pick up yourself. But overall I was very pleased with my meal and experience at Shake Shack.
