Had breakfast. The potatoes were good. Lorraine Quiche was good and so were the eggs Benedict (the eggs were slightly overdone - the yolks were thick gel-like, but still tasted good).

If you love corn chowder they have the best. All their food is delicious.

The soup and sandwich combo of which gives you a choice of sandwich from 3 different ones, a choice of soup, of which there again are 3 and salad choice, of once again there are 3 kinds of salads to choose from.

I had the French Dip sandwich which had a cup of "au jus" (a dipping broth) a cup of tomato basil soup, and I ordered the dinner salad with that.

The atmosphere was cozy, the restaurant was clean, the service was quick and our waitress was really nice too.

The food here is quite exquisite. My wife and I come here every few months. The staff seems to memorize us very well, and are always very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it here. Great food and great people all on a more affordable budget. Can't go wrong. We gladly drive from San Marcos to go here vs closer locations.
