Vessel Restaurant

My wife and I just had dinner for her birthday.

For appetizers we enjoyed muscles in a really good sauce which we dipped our bread into.

Best clam chowder I've ever had. The clams are unlike anything other. Seared scallops are delicous. And the strawberries in my wife's salad were chilled just right.

Tonight being International margarita something or other, we had coconut margaritas.

And of course my ribeye was on point.

Amazing food, ambiance and staff. The happy hour portions were decent for anyone with a little appetites. Particularly enjoyed the poke with arrowroot chips.

Stayed at the Kona Kai resort for 3 nights and ate here several times. Service was always spectacular, food was good. The parmesan truffle fries are to die for, I also loved the sliders. We had brunch one day and I ordered the fish tacos which I was let down by but possibly because the bar snacks were so good. Neat bar to hang out at and they even had live music some nights while we were there. Would stay at the resort again based on this restaurant alone.

We went there for Happy Hour....service was just okay.
Nice patio to enjoy the view.Very quiet and relaxing.
We liked the seafood Poke so much that we ordered a second round and
asked for some extra chips that come with the dish.Was surprise to see a charge of 3$ extra
for a few chips!? Leaves you with a bad taste.
