(February 15, 2019, 10:24 am)BBQ, yeah, excellent. Nice location to meet with family. The service was friendly and sociable. This place has a nice feel to it. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.

Tony came on time, brought delicious food and it was perfect while we celebrated Black History Month! I definitely recommend The BBQ Pit and can't wait to bring my family to the restaurant soon!

(January 7, 2019, 2:20 pm)We took our food to go. Very friendly staff. Good service. The meat was good but I order a sandwich but I don't call a sandwich just meat in a bun. It was too expensive for $10. My friend had the mix ribs plate. Also he ordered a sausage. Amazing sausage. I would go back for the sausage only.

(December 27, 2018, 7:52 pm)A very nice cafe in the heart of North Park. No glitz and no glamour, just good food. they're ham and barbecue sandwiches are very good and I really like the french fries. They also have a good selection of dessert. If you're local it's a great place to have your meat smoked. You can bring your own roast, ham, side of beef, whatever you have and they will smoke it for you for a couple of dollars a pound.If you're looking for something simple quick and easy, this is the place.
