Good food. Good flavors. But really... this place should improve on the logistics... it took the chef one full hour to come to our teppan after we were seated. But it is forgivable only because the food was good. Also, the house served us cocktails during the wait time. Nice.

Great place for lunch, especially the lunch menu options. Outstanding and well prepared food. Sushi was a great appetizer. Excellent and fast service. Parking is limited and tight. Some street parking, easy street access. Visible from freeway. Will be trying dinner sometime soon.

Shogun-Kobe is hands down the best Teppan around. no reason to ever go elsewhere. If you want cooked right is your face, you simply must go here! And their sushi bar is fresh! We love eating all their items. Look for coupons away Costco, or they have 10 or 15 percent off online!

Went on a Friday at 5p as a walk in...wait time was an hr and 15min so we just sat at the sushi bar. Ordered the dinner vegetable and shrimp tempura with fried rice and it $15.99 plus $2.99 extra for the fried rice. Food was ok. Also ordered some CA rolls, crunchy rolls, tuna rolls, and eel rolls. They were all good but not like, "whoa!" good :).....prices for the rolls were reasonable. The service was excellent though...very attentive!!
