520 Korean Food

Came here after business dealings nearby and seeing 520 Korean Food pop up on gmap showing status of recently opened, but no review or picture. I was hungry and korean food is fine with me at that time of night, it's late. There wasn't too many diners only three tables occupied, the aroma was so enticing I just sat myself and order first item on set menu. The place is next door to Yu Spa with shared doorway which leads you to spa or 520 KF. Nothing special about the place other than colorful bright interior with minimal decor a service counter and tables. WiFi is free and password is (iamhungry), but it's under spa connection network I guess they're related in some way.

Service is fantastic for a casual quick bite place, the owner check on me at least three times while water refills making sure I was satisfied. They were shocked to know that I spoke korean and know I was immensely hungry. I got the Beef Bulgogi Set Meal when it came to table I was blown away on presentation and the amount of beef given. You get four mini size house banchan, japchae, soup, fruit, rice, lettuce cup, and marinated beef. Bulgogi was tender and tasty not much oil settled on bottom. I made lettuce cup using rice, beef and japchae absolutely a value some places won't even give you that much meat and the price could be more. The meal is delicious and well-made effort is seen and the proof was in front of me (now in tummy) LOL. I can't even remember the last time I went to a place that had cut up orange wedge flip in outward ready to eat no peeling require. They're really pushing out their efforts to impress and I recognize that. Next time I'll wash it down with Hite or Cass beer. Solid 4 star based on quality, ambiance, service, and value.
