Ahi Sushi

This place is the go to spot for sushi in University City. They always run 5$ sushi roll deals although these rolls aren't very big they make for a great add on to my main roll, the 911 and a miso soup. Besides the sushi the teriyaki chicken is really good. The waitresses are really nice and if you want you can sit at the bar and watch the chefs make your sushi!

The bf & I have been to this neighborhood joint a few times. He's a frequent flyer here. Prices are reasonable, staff are very attentive & food comes out in a flash! Recently renovated, bright & comfortable space. Rolls have always been fresh, flavorful & filling. Large beers for about $7, rolls vary with fancier ones from $12-15. Good HH.

Only problem is they close up in a hurry while you're still there & they are still open. As a customer, this is off putting, regardles of how friendly they are.

Really 4.5 but I continue to be impressed so rounding up :)

Ahi sushi is awesome. It used to be a dive with great food, but they just got sold and they redecorated the whole place. Luckily it's just as good or better. They have good prices and really good sushi/quality. I would reccomend their Spanish role to anyone. Go give it a shot, it's a great casual place.

This place has the best sushi in San Diego. Great customer service and great fresh food. The atmosphere is amazing. It's so clean and beautiful with all the decor. Prices are very descent and we will definitely return with friends and family.
