Good food, not too heavy. Good family environment, and quiet enough to talk easily. Great value.
Personally It's a great value of salad buffet. I love to have good quality of freash vegetables and other side dishes. I am pretty satisfied with quality. In addition, two things made me impressed about this one.
First, my wife and my a young daughter had a dinner but it was approx 30s dollars included all.
Second, there was an employee who cleaned tables and took an used dishes works really hard and kind to customers.
I hadn't been to Souplantation for awhile. Needed early lunch quick, so in I went. It was very very fresh and delicious. Had soup, salad bar and yummy corn bread and pizza bread...dessert: a yummy brownie. Oh, also...baked potatoes available and ice cream bar. The food areas and dining areas were very clean. The restroom was clean, too! I was in Carmel Valley.
First time for me eating at an "all you can eat" soup and salad buffet. The salad ingredients appeared fresh. The soups were good and I thought they had a good variety, although only 5 or so. Pastas were a bit bland but they were constantly making fresh which was appreciated. There were some sort of muffin that was gluten free and tasted just like a snicker doodle cookie! Best. Part. Ever. But felt like it was a bit over priced for lighter fair.
Salads are good, but, need to respect vegetarians, provide good choice of veg soups and keep them separate from non-veg so people accidentally don't splash or use utensils to mix things. Desserts and Mac n cheese great. I love the yummy sweet potatoes!
