The only Jewish deli to speak of in San Diego. Foods pretty good prices are high but you get what you pay for. The deli section of the restaurant has a great selection of meats and bagels but to get the bagel that you want you better get there early because they sell out
This a restaurant, deli and bakery, and all of them great. The menu has many choices. I had the Bernie's delicatessen house salad and it was huge with a great portion of corned beef and cheeses. The matzah ball soup is good too. The staff is friendly and helpful. No wonder they've been around for decades.
Best soups, especially the matzoh ball. Busy happy atmosphere. Their own baked rye bread is fresh and delicious. Mid to high prices, but worth it and portions are generous.
We live in Missouri and I DREAM of the rare roast beef sandwich. As soon as we got here, we went straight to DZ Akins to get a roast beef and Pastrami sandwich.
Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly, efficient and helpful.
The roast beef is the real deal, an absolutely delicious chunk of beef.
It was truly as good as it looks.
This is the best New York Style Jewish Deli Restaurant. I got the Four egg fresh mushroom, jack and avocado omelette with home fries and fresh rye toast. Our service was great. The servings are so generous that I always bring half home for a second meal later. Their deli and bakery are top notch also! Just FYI, the corn beef on rye is about eight inches high and a massive tasty sandwich too. You definitely ought to try it.
