California Burritos

Someone tried to do a scientific review of local burrito spots and apparently California Burritos has the best California Burrito in San Diego. I don't know if I agree with that but I am glad that there is a legitimate Mexican place in the neighborhood. Maybe a little heavy on the sour cream some times, but I think that's a matter of taste. When I've made special requests, I got exactly what I wanted. Not the best ever, but nothing to complain about either.

The food is good at a decent price. The chips and salsa bar is phenomenal. I prefer the breakfast burritos over the lunch/dinner options but they are all very tasty. Open late which is nice. Tables outside for eating. Can get a bit busy.

Love this place. They are fast, convenient, and the food here is delicious. One time I asked for certain chips and they went out of their way to make it.

Everything was amazing except the fish tacos. I would think a restaurant in San Diego would be more authentic, but they put fish sticks in the tacos. Five stars for the rest of our order, but I have to deduct for the fish sticks.
