The food and services were satisfied; the ambient music was today's hits and I kinda enjoyed it with my sushi-and-friend time. They also have special menu for food and drinks during their happy hours in the evening and late nights (I believe it is around 9:30-11pm for Thursday through Saturday nights). Bring their friends for fun experience and sake bomb!!!
I’m sitting in the restaurant as I am writing this and I’m really happy with everything. I bring all of my friends here and they love it! So good. Food is good. 20 stars ❤️
Enjoyed the ambiance and hometown feel of this University City eatery. The happy hour prices are great and food quality is spot on. All of the servers where friendly and attentive without being overly so. I recommend this spot for afterwork gather with friends or even a casual date night, might be a little much for families with young children. Overall two enthusiastic thumbs up.
I came here for happy hour with friends since the sushi is 30% off at that time. The food was good but not the best I've had. We were all pretty hungry so I don't think any of my friends minded. The waitress was really nice but I think they mixed up our table's order with the table next to us so we waited a while for two items. It's close to UCSD so I would probably come back again if I want a quick sushi fix, but not the first place I would think of going to again.
Friendly staff and sushi chefs.
Occasional weekend night sake bombs kept the restaurant mood lively.
Daniel, the sushi chef is who keeps me coming back over and over. If you are a regular, occasional service items from him is by what makes this place above all else.
Keep it up, Ki!
