Kensington Cafe

Good atmosphere and it wasnt crowded at 7pm on a week night. Food was more flavorful than I expected, which was a wonderful surprise. Also the portion sizes are a tad smaller than other places. I appreciated thos because when food is good I over eat and having a more appropriate meal size and a slightly better price. The service was timely, friendly, and just the right amount of attentiveness.

A preferred place for delicious american food. It's so delicious. It has a good atmosphere. Atmosphere is similar to a cafe in San Jose I loved.

Love the vintage yet modern atmosphere! It is my favorite place in San Diego to get food and sit down with great friends and company. The food options are very well done and one of my favorites being the French toast and for drinks Italian sodas. Definitely should give it a try

Charming cafe for Kensington and visitors. The menu has many selections to please any taste. Refreshing orange juice is served in a chilled jar. I recommend the blueberry corn meal waffle and add bacon. Alexi and the entire staff are friendly and efficient. We will be back!

Remarkably solid. This looks like the sort of place that might serve overpriced insubstantial fare, but the opposite is true: the flavors were intense and layered, and portions were generous. Even the kid’s grilled cheese sandwich was interesting, with a blend of cheeses on sourdough. Service was exceptional: warm and welcoming, not at all rote. The street view is also pleasant. Overall, I’d strongly recommend this place if you’re in the area.
