Bekker's Catering

Planning a reception for my Mom's out of state Memorial Service was tough enough, but getting caterers to respond to me seemed challenging -- except for Bekkers. They were incredibly responsive, getting us quotes and working through the menu/cost for a reception serving 75. Tatiana was wonderful in helping me navigate what would work best with food/pricing for day of. The delivery was exactly when they committed to, my friend was point of contact and she shared with me the gentleman delivery got everything set up beautifully in a flash.

We went with variety croissant sandwiches, pasta salad, potato salad and some beverages. While the trays/bowls were disposable -- they were very nice and made the display of food look great. They provided all of our utensils and plates, nice sturdy plates and utensils. Our guests, commented on how delicious the lunch was.

I could not be more pleased with the level of service and quality of food they provided during a really difficult time.

We hired Bekker’s catering for our wedding, and it was a great experience from start to finish! The manager at our wedding venue recommended Bekker’s as a reasonably priced caterer, and they responded quickly. We chose the “Greek Goddess” menu, which had yummy kabobs as well as Tzatziki Sauce and Spanakopitas that our guests later raved about. The highlight of working with Bekker’s catering was our day-of-wedding coordinator, Barbara. She was exceptional! She was prompt in replying to my questions, and she was such a kind and warm person to work with. I don’t have any event planning experience, so to have someone I could call or email and ask questions about everything from centerpieces to getting my wedding dress steamed and pressed was such a relief! Everything was absolutely beautiful on our wedding day, and she made the rehearsal the night before and the day of the wedding 100% stress free for me. My Mom told me that hiring Barbara was one of the best decisions that I made for our wedding, and I 100% agree! I highly recommend Bekker’s catering and Barbara for your wedding! Thank you!

I personally spoke to Chris on the phone this morning, but I wanted to drop you this e-mail to express our extreme appreciation and gratitude for your generosity and service to our Gala last night!

It was a privilege for all of us here at The Thursday to experience your catering first hand at a price point reasonable for our Gala. We had 500 members & guests in attendance. The servers were polite, enthusiastic, helpful, problem solvers, and had the spirit of our event. Our success was due to their dedication to make sure everyone was well fed, had a fun time, lots of gourmet choices, and help enhance the flow of the evening.

From the roar of the crowd:
The Rice was probably the best I have eaten in years, and our members agreed!
The Chicken was a huge success! Tender, well-seasoned, and so delicious with the grilled veggies.
The fruit was chopped small and easy for our elderly guests to chew. (We notice the small details)!
The salad with dressing options satisfied our gluten-free guest needs!

The Malt Shop!
From the moment we opened the doors, we served rootbeer floats, orange soda floats and they loved it! The ice cream Sundae bar was such a hit, we ran out of vanilla ice cream! Thank you for bringing the extra flavors!
I know we supplied the extra goodies, but your servers made the lines flow quickly and easily. Our members laughed & giggled at all the choices. It was so fun for them to create their own Sundaes.

Set Up/Clean Up:
With the timing of the tables, your staff made it a “Make it Work Moment!” Us older ladies were nervous because we move a little slower. Everything was up and ready to go. The linens were perfect for our event, and we all noted the gift of design to the theme which you gave to us to use! The 50’s theme cut outs were just fun and made an old tent, sparkle like a 1950’s diner! The clean-up was equally quick, efficient and professional. The waiters and staff moved tables and cleaned up as needed with a pleasant smile and true feeling of wanting to please all of us. We felt appreciated and served by your organization!

We hosted a special church event and ordered catering with a carving station with Bekkers! What an amazing job they did. The food was absolutely delicious (the green beans were amazing, mashed potatoes....wow! and the carved beef was cooked to perfection!) Their customer service is refreshingly friendly and accommodating, and the servers were amazing! We will definitely be using their services again!!!

Bekker's is the BEST! I plan staff and student events and cater them often. Their barbecue is the best and their customer service and whole crew are always so helpful, responsive and friendly. They're early for event set-up and do a great job of replenishing, taking care of everything, so I never have to worry! They are some of the kindest people I know in the business. I highly recommend using their services!
