Nate's Garden Grill

Great music, very mellow Drought Tolerant Bluegrass Band with NO cover charge or minimum. (Come see while still not too famous.) Astonishingly easy parking. Very nice craft beer selection. Fine menu, even good for vegans. Nice for casual date night and/ or bring your kids.

So close to downtown San Diego, Nate's has great food and a fun/urban twist on a farm minded restaurant. For breakfast or lunch in the free times I have been, I have ordered different things each time and all have been winners. While I don't like the idea of this place getting so busy that it's hard to eat there, I would easily call it a local gem.

Such a cute place, attached to a garden nursery, and all their veggies are fresh from the garden. Very low key, relaxing spot. Delicious food, great beer selection, nice atmosphere, and dog friendly! Can't wait to drive cross country and come back here with my pups. :-)

We love this place! A little slice of country living in the heart of San Diego. Comfort food and comfortable ambiance, what more could you ask for? After you eat you can walk around the garden center and buy plants and stuff. Awesome experience every time we go.

Awesome ! The food is extremely fresh and I believe that most all of the vegetables come from the mini farm right next door. This place is awesome and they have live performances with all of the performers listed at the front of the restaurant and on the stage itself, including the genre of music for each performer. This is a must check out if you are in the area and have an hour or so to kill.
