The Crack Shack - Little Italy

Chicken lives up to expectations. Biscuits are delicious. Loved the slaw, pickly and inspired! Fries also perfect. Really good quality food totally worth the money, great outdoor seating. Be prepared to wait, but it's worth a trip.

Rustic and fun dining area. Serve yourself condiments and to-go boxes with you’ll likely need as the food is BIG and you’ll be tempted to try some of the more interesting flavor combinations.

Nice selection of beer and wines (surprising for such a casual place). Signature fried chicken super crispy and moist. Schmaltz fries. A few healthier options.

Fun open air restaurant just down from Little Italy with a selective menu. Great service, although the wait to just order our food at the cashier window took longer than expected. Once our group found a seat in the beer garden style area our drinks came out quickly followed shortly by our food. Great service with a friendly and helpful staff. Overall, positive experience with good food and drinks. I certainly recommend this San Diego food spot to everyone.

Google Maps actually suggested this place to me as a "place I'll love." They were correct. We sat outside at the bar and the bartender was doing a good job. She was busy but kept up with everything, and still had chance to chat with the people at the bar while she worked. A real professional. Good selection of craft beer on tap. Spicy chicken sandwich and their fries were both really excellent. Dark meat so it was so moist. My mouth is watering while writing this review. Really delicious food and a great atmosphere.
