The food was okay. Randy, our server, was great! We were seated in a corner booth right next to the door for the kitchen, though there were many empty tables and we had a reservation. A server wearing too much perfume walked past us countless times, leaving in her wake an unbreathable cloud. The blackberry smash was yummy.
Had dinner here during our stay at the Inn. The service was phenomenal by Vickie. She was a pleasure, helpful, caring and entertaining for our year and a half year old daughter. The food was pretty good. They have a pretty popular burger special on Monday’s that was good. Sit on the patio, you’ll get an amazing view and sunsets overlooking the golf course.
Outside seemed nice. Made mistake of eating inside where service was slow and smelled a bit of a locker room. Cool tables with 4” slab table tops, but sticky with bar residue. More menu selection than classier upstairs venue but prices not proportionately adjusted. Portabella burger was worthy.
this place had an awesome atmosphere, and some of the best restaurant staff in this entire area. They are extremely friendly, extremely efficient, and service that was well above anything I've been to in this area. The food was five stars, just like the service. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant if you have the opportunity. It is a little on the expensive side, but well worth the time and money spent!
My wife and I stayed at the Rancho Bernardo Inn this weekend. We ate at the Veranda Fireside Lounge on the patio on our first night and ended up eating there once each day during our stay! Vickie took great care of us. She's super friendly, knowledgeable and obviously loves her job. She really kicked our experience up a notch.
I highly recommend the Spanish Lamb Lollipops. It's on the appetizer menu, and we ordered it that way the first night, but you can order either 2 for $16 or 4 for $24 and that is plenty of food, so we both ordered that as our entree the second night. They are that good.
Also, the RBI Bread Pudding is amazing! By far one of the best I've ever had. This place is definitely worth a try. It's a great place with great food, great views (looking over the golf course from the patio), friendly staff and reasonable prices.
