The food was tasty and the location is convenient if you are using the bus. The reason I gave only 4 stars is because the staff was not very friendly in fact they seemed annoyed at my son who was waken up from a nap and full of dysfunctional energy. They did give my friends older son a really nice coloring book which makes me want to reconsider adding that extra star but service is a huge deal. They just seemed annoyed by my indecisiveness when ordering (I'm vegetarian and always take forever to order). I would have understood if they were very busy but they weren't. Anyway, the food was decent. Not my favorite place for Jamaican food in San Diego though.
These folks know how to eat. The oxtails and beans were so incredible. Authentic as it gets. Fast too. Will definitely come here again!!
Ohhhh! A friend brought me here and the food here is so delicious!!!
Everything was good but the greens were ESPECIALLY delicious! I would have asked what they were but I know people don't like to give up their recipes. That being said I sure would love to know!
Be careful they have large portions. We only finished half of our small plate orders.
Comfort food and try to get there early as they sell out of popular dishes. Also if they have a batch of homemade ginger beer, GET SOME.
I'm from the Bronx and my boyfriend is from Queens and he's West Indian, if you are looking for a good Caribbean spot to eat at, YOU HAVE FOUND IT! It truly makes me miss home... Better than Golden Crust, that's how you know what I'm talking about!
