Th food here is great! An unbeatable view, I just missed breakfast but the French toast looked and smelled amazing. Good salad and sandwich options.

Delicious food (I had the butternut squash panini with potato salad), affordable pricing, quick service and incredible ocean views. Parking can be a bit tricky (the lots require UCSD parking permits on weekdays), but Caroline’s is worth hunting for a parking spot on the street. Plus, they have beer, wine and cocktails! Just don’t tell too many people about this gem...

It was lunch rush, shortly after 1:00 pm, and I ordered a salad with grilled salmon on top. It took 45 minutes. Was the salad good? Yes, but not worth that long of a wait. I'm not going back there.

Breakfast and Brunch here is very good. Scenery from the terrace draws you away from the daily drama.
Staff is helpful and positive.
The service model however could use some optimization. Instead of people lining up to order then sit down, having light order taking on the floor would provide a better experience.

Delicious brunch with an eye-opening view. Caroline's boasts an amazing breakfast and lunch spread that will please anyone from the picky eater to comfort foodie. Dig into the beef short rib hash, Mediterranean scramble, or Coast burger. You can't go wrong! And one tip: if you pay cash, hop right up to the cashier; you'll manage to avoid the long line and wait for food!
