Had a green iced tea and sat down to read. Staff was nice, good seating outside. Minus one star because the tea tasted a bit burnt. Tip: Not lot a lot of indoor seating so go on a nice day!
Sandwiches are delicious, coffee is okay but service is whatever. One lady with tattoo is always mean and does not bother not to help you. When I placed the order online, they were out of one item from my order when I came to pick up, and Better Buzz could not refund me in store, I supposed to find an email and ask them for refund. The place looks good but far from perfect
You NEED to try the Lavender Buzz drink. It is fantastic. Sometimes the employees are heavy handed with the star so ask them to only do 1/4th of a pump if you prefer a little less sweet of a drink (like me). Overall, great staff and good drinks. I highly recommend
We came to Better Buzz Coffee with family while on a quick trip in La Jolla. We wanted a quick cup of coffee before we departed. better Buzz is visible from far away, and has a very open appearance. It is easy to see what they have to offer and boy do they have lots of options. I got the Mocha de Mexico and greatly enjoyed it. There is tons of flavor that is not upsetting. We also got the Vanilla Latte that was delicious as well. The wait for our drinks was long but worth it. Set aside at least 20 minutes. This place is great for a coffee date or cup to go.
Cute open-air coffee stop in the heart of La Jolla. Wish the staff had more of an opportunity to wipe down the outdoor tables, but it's a busy shop with quick counter service and a good vibe. The coconut-buzz coffee was not a favorite for the lack of blending, although the menu has plenty of other options. Hard to beat the excellent walk-everywhere location and easy street access of the place.
