The raw menu is where it’s at! Best tare-tar in San Diego hands down! Wonderful and accommodating staff - this is my new regular spot! Oh- and the espresso martini- cardamom and pistachio- in love!
Initially I was a little worried about the hype here, but had a good time at Callie and I would certainly come back when in town.
The place is huge, a lot of seating and a nice bar. Ceilings are too high, I would have preferred a different setting for a restaurant but it was fine.
Plates are well done, with a right balance in all of them. Tried the crudite, the salmon, the prawns, the artichokes and the rigatoni pasta.
The artichokes were above all others and tasted (and smelled) really fresh.
On the dessert side the pavlova won the presentation over the taste. Opted to get the pudding after it and couldn't do better, try it because it is awesome.
The service deserves a positive review too.
I would come here again for the Hummus and the Raw/Cured menu. Entrees were just decent though.
The cookie didn't taste good because it tasted more like oatmeal cookie...
Wow, what a fantastic meal. We ordered a bit of everything and were not disappointed; everything was amazing. I especially loved the chicken entree; the spice rub on it was so unique and delicious.
Book many weeks in advance to get a reservation.
I'll be going back 🥰
Modern Mediterranean cuisine with a touch of California.
Great addition to the neighborhood. Great service and excellent food.
Book in advance!
We love the atmosphere, and the music is not loud compared to other high-end restaurants in SD which is a "trend?"
