I enjoyed the food, drinks and ambience while living in uptown Oakland; the service and scene are great though the only drawback are the prices but may be more due to the gentrifying neighborhood than ownership.
I recommend the tacos, chicken mole, churro dessert and any of their cocktails, all of which are very well executed.

No idea about the bad reviews. Been here at least a half dozen times. Always good and always decent timing. Could be 20 minutes on weekends. I’m here now, it’s Wednesday at noon. I waited 10 minutes max.

Beef chorizo breakfast burrito with 3-4 green salsa. You won’t be disappointed. Solid burrito and under $10. Go there now!

Awesome place the chick at the coumter super friendly and the food OMG amazing tacos for the price. Atmosphere is unique

The shrimp and fish tacos were great. I preferred the shrimp ever so slightly. The salsa and chips was also on point. They seem to have a large selection and the breakfast options looked especially good. Can't wait to come back here when I'm in the neighbourhood again!
