College Billiards

If I were some this place up in a phrase: it has potential. The equipment itself (the tables) is taken care of well enough, however the actual location as a whole always seems like it would need some general TLC. The menu itself, although it's a pool hall, isn't bad but could use a revamp-prices are fair, and a general remodel/refresh for the entire location wouldn't do it bad either.

For 3 cushion or carom billiards, there is no better place/equipment in the whole of Southern California-this could most likely be attributed to the fact that the previous owner was one of the best 3 cushion players in the world-no joke! Those tables are better maintained than the pool tables, although the pool tables are maintained quite well-definitely far better than your average sports bar.

The crowd of regulars mostly gathers there to play "golfito" on the larger snooker tables, and the atmosphere of the place is well enough that it could be deemed "family-friendly," although there is also room for improvement here.

Bringing your own pool cue would be highly recommended, as the house cues have definitely seen better days, but if you want a fun night out to hang out with your friends, this is definitely a place to go and have a good time.

Excellent service. Tables are in excellent condition. Full bar. Lots of good players come here and they're fun to watch. Lots of people play card games by the bar. Relaxed environment. Often playing Latin music.

Stopped in at College Billiards to play a couple of game's of pool and was surprised by a nice mix of people playing and a very comfortable temperature in the pool room. Cold beer at a very low price helps. We had a great time. I strongly recommend the cheeseburger and fries. Perfect meal.
