Exceptional Service. We went for Dim Sum this morning for the first time at Diamond Palace and will definitely go back in addition to recommending to others.

The establishment was clean and tidy. Well lit and welcoming. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. They definitely care about customer service and making sure that their diners' have an enjoyable experience. Multiple languages spoken including English, Spanish, and Chinese (not sure if Cantonese or Mandarin).

I was with my service dog and there weren't any issues. Harley just laid beside my chair and the staff were aware of where he was and made sure not to disturb either of us.

Diverse menu including a picture menu which is awesome.

I have enjoyed traditional dim sum for over forty years and the food at Diamond Palace was tasty. I prefer a different type of crust for my egg tarts but it was still good. We had Rice Rolls (BBQ Pork and Shrimp) along with the other favourites.

Water and Tea service was not slow. Luis made sure that you did not want for water long if you did drink it all before he came around again.

The reason it cost us $20 - $30 per person is that we eat a lot so don't let that be a deterrent.

Overall I would rate Service at 5+ Stars and Food 4+ Stars

Visited this place on a Monday morning, and I had made a reservation for 3 at 10am, right at opening. There were two other tables occupied with patrons. We got cart service from a very kind lady, and some dim sum dishes were not ready yet. We did not have to wait long at all for our requests and they brought our requests straight to our table. We spent an hour here. The ambiance was nice and clean with a lot of tables for group dining. It's a large space for a party.

I was super excited to try the food because I don't get to eat dim sum often. I especially enjoyed the stewed tripe, spare ribs in black bean sauce, and chicken feet. Their chili oil was delicious, I ate it with everything. I don't really understand the pricing for the dim sum. There were "A" "B" "C" "D" and "Special" sizes with different prices, but I didnt know which dishes we ordered were how much. Because quality dim sum is not common in this neighborhood and the fact that this restaurant is right down the street from my house, the value is decent. I just think their entrees are super expensive. $22 for beef fried rice, which my brother ate most of during our time there!?...pass.

There was one older employee who kept creeping around table and standing in spaces awkwardly close to our table. It was no big deal, kind of comical. There was Xmas music playing softly near the kitchen. Their hot Jasmine tea was delicious.

I will definitely be coming here again, I look forward to the next time I do...for take-out.

Excited to see where this place goes. It's a big space so hopefully they can get busy enough to keep it open. Friendly staff and solid food. Looking forward to going back and trying out some more dishes.

We read about it in a local review and decided to give this out-of-the-way joint a try.
The decor is awkward as most dim sum places are.
The service is a bit chaotic, but your usual siu-mai’s, hargao, funzhao etc where pretty tasty.
I was a bit surprised by the odd way they charge for tea. Already, in hong kong dim sum places for example there is no charge for tea. Here they hit you with a per-person charge and try to charge you every time they refill the teapot with hot water.
otherwise it was OK, but no better than other local places and a but out of the way for me.

Finally a dim sum place in City Heights! Formerly known as Crystal Palace. Also sister restaurant to Golden Island (same owner).

The decor is bright, simple and modern. The service was so quick. We got our usual items from the push carts. (Shu Mai, har gow, steam bun). Then placed chicken feet, bbq rice rolls and shrimp rice rolls with the server. Also got salted fish fried rice as an entree.

The dim sum prices are equivalent to Golden Island. The shu mai and har gow were huge! So I guess it justified the price. The entree prices are about $22+. It’s best for family style to be shared. We ordered salted fish fried rice and felt like we were at a banquet. It’s huge! Gonna be breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Plenty of parking in this plaza. I’m satisfied with the quality, taste and location!
