El Gordo Mexican Food

Love this place! Surprisingly great quality food for a drive thru taco shop. The tortillas and beans were very tasty which isn’t common for this type of restaurant. Birria was good too! Good portions and good price!

Everything was delicious.. The tacos, the soup, the fries were all good.. Will definitely go back. The prices were good and the service was great.

Amazing food with lots of ingredients. Every dish they make has many ingredients which makes the food taste better. Something simple like quesadillas have ingredients that normally you won't find in other restaurants. And their line of food with "Birria" is just amazing. Apparently it's a well known method of cooking and serving in Oaxaca, Mexico. And it's very unusual for San Diego, so you just have to try it

Perfect drive thru Mexican food. We ordered a veggie burrito and a fish burrito, both so big and delicious! They had Jamaica water that was flavorful and not too sweet. Fish burrito comes with salad and rice and refried beans so it is a whole meal. The portions are generous and very very tasty. Inexpensive for what you get. I will certainly make this place one of my to go! Places. The cashier was sweet and friendly and the cook was working hard to make things fresh from scratch.

They have the best birria tacos and good condiment buffet ! Great service clean and has outdoor indoor dinning drive through also
