El Pollo Loco

I have been to a lot of El Pollo Loco locations and this is one of my favorites.
Fast service
And they don't skimp on the meat.

This location is still new and so when I went on a Saturday night, I was the only one eating for the 30 minutes I was there. Usually I go to the National City location for my Pollo Bowl but tried this one. It’s definitely smaller but I feel like they hooked up the the food. The National City location seems only fills the bowl 3/4 of the way but this one was definitely filled all the way. Since this is closer to my house, I’ll be going to this one more often. Don’t forget to get your points by using the app!

Smaller location and the food is still good as expected. You can still watch the employees flipping and smoking the chicken. Not much seating, but ample parking and drive-thru.

This location just opened up by my house. I’m glad too because I use to have to go all the way to National City which was a drag. I’ve ordered twice on the app and both times I received my order correctly utensils, sauces and all. I was a jerk the first time I went, because I waited outside and had set curbside pickup, but this location does not have that yet. Still I didn’t have to be a jerk. I went back today and everything was on point again. This time I walked right in and grabbed my order which was ready 5 minutes after I placed it on the app with nothing missing. The app is kinda lame and you have to add the promos at the end before paying which was a bit awkward. But once I added the coupon the price was adjusted to reflect the special price for the family meal. I must admit I love this spot so far. Plus, being on a diet, it’s quite helpful that there is less calories in grilled chicken. Will definitely keep coming when I can afford it. Good thing they have some good promos on the app.

Food here is amazing. Service is exceptional inside lobby very clean and organized. The drive thru is not open but you can walk inside and food is done fast & quality is great.
