Fit Tacos

I love this place! They serve at Societe Brewery like 6-7 days/week. Societe has great beer, though a bit pricy. The taco truck is what brings me to the brewery. I’d probably come to the brewery a few times a year if they didn’t have Fit Tacos (Now Chachos Tacos). I’m in clairermont at least one week and I try to make it a point to hit up the taco truck every week.

I love all the different flavors and textures that all the food provided! What made it truly amazing was the salsa that had a good kick of spiciness.

My favorite dish by far were the carne asade fries! There were so many flavors that exploded in your mouth and complimented each other quite nicely! There was sweetness and juiciness from the tomatoes, creaminess from the guacamole and sauces, earthiness and freshness from the cilantro, and spiciness from the onion and sauce! Just so many flavors going on all at once with the fries as the "canvas." The fries themselves were very crispy and fluffy on the inside, and in my opinion an amazing substitute instead of chips!

I only tried the carne asade tacos, and those were delicious as well. A really solid and authentic taco!

Overall, very good, I absolutely loved the fries, and I really liked the tasty tacos!

Super fresh ingredients. I always love food from the food trucks in San Diego. It’s hard to go wrong. We had a carne fries and shrimp tacos. Amazing! Now, if we could just figure out a way to make the fries more healthy... air fryer?

My test to determine if a new spot to me makes good Mexican food is to try its carnitas. First bite through last, Fit Taco earns top marks (in my book). The quality of pork stands out, prep is done right, and the seasoning is balanced. You can tell the tortillas are super fresh. The burrito and tacos are humble champs--unassuming yet deliver what it should... Well crafted food with earnest, good ingredients.

Great tacos after a work out. I want something light but at the same time filling and this really hit the spot

I’m not really a beer drinker but went with some friends to a brewery called societe. I saw them parked and a huge line out the parking lot. The line was worth the wait because I’ve never had a healthy taco before. Instead of using tortillas they used some other type of wrapping that made the taco taste even crispier and juicier. I wasn’t really expecting that at all.

Overall I’ll come back here for sure to try the other stuff on their menu. A plus is their salsa, a taco spot is only as good as their salsa.
