Best poke and sashimi. Grilled fish choices also really good. Highly recommend. Usually pretty crowded. Recently got more picnic tables outside.

Recommended by some coworkers for fresh place for poke and did not disappoint. Unassuming place in a business park with ample outdoor seating and not crowded at all on a Saturday noon.

They serve by scoops of poke with salad or rice, but I saw many people buying scoops to go as well. Did see a menu for hot food but note the kitchen not open until 11 am. Did also have a small fridge of what appears to be Hawaiian specialty drinks.

Was a little pricey (18$ for 3 ice-cream scoop size scoops of poke + rice) but in my opinion an expected price point for fresh poke in San Diego.

Hallelujah! Poke bowls that actually use and take advantage of the incredible flavors and textures of fresh fish rather than compensating for mediocre fish with a bunch of other ingredients -- well worth the small price premium. The fish tacos were also outstanding -- perfectly cooked fried fish with a few complementary ingredients. We've gotten sashimi here too, which was excellent. This place is a hidden treasure!

The food itself was delicious, the poke was very well flavored and there being no toppings is the right choice. It's good on its own. Also, the scoops are big so two scoops was more than enough for me.

I also recommend trying the canned Hawaiian Sun drinks, they were very good.

I took a star off for a couple reasons, one being that the ordering process is very confusing and the employees weren't very nice while ordering. There are 3 stations in the fish market that are not labeled and you kind of have to look around a guess which to go to. Having things better labeled would probably also move the line faster, as it took is 25 minutes in line to get our food. I'd highly recommend ordering online.

Additionally I would recommend to the restaurant to change to paper bowls instead of plastic to reduce waste.

Overall, I 100% will go back but will order online to avoid the line and confusion.

Went out for a nice lunch with the family. The poke bowls were good but wished there was some veggies included. There was a decent amount of fish and rice. Fish was very fresh. Ordered hot food for the little one but it did take a good while for it to come out. We were done with our meal before the hot food arrived. The kiddo enjoyed the garlic shrimp and rice however she complained of too much raw garlic.
