Loved my first experience at Intazza Mug & Grub in San Diego – awesome vibes. Grateful and excited to have a new local business bringing the surrounding communities together and elevating the neighborhood. The space is open and peaceful. Had a delicious breakfast burrito – simple, yet done very well with quality ingredients, especially the salsa verde. Can't wait to come back!
After a long two years getting excited for this place to open I was surprised how big, open and beautiful it is! It’s got a great atmosphere, vibe and beautiful decor that goes well with their comfortable seating.
The servers are incredibly kind, the coffee isn’t very good and the food is what it should be quality wise for the price it is.
It’s a great space if you need an office from home for a day!
If you need a quick bite it’s great, not if you’re wanting a good coffee.
My new favorite coffee shop! Cold brew is on point and the east coast breakfast bagel was fully loaded. Great work space or grab and go. See you there
My wife and I love this place, we are regulars at the Mission Beach location and had to come check out the new shop in Golden Hill. Great location, easy to park in and the staff over here was just as welcoming and helpful as the mission beach staff. Coffee was great and the food was too. Also the interior design and flow of the shop is perfect, big open glass windows that give it an inside/outside feel. Nice to go to a coffee shop that not only as high end coffee and food but a team of people that are helpful and not your typical stuffy coffee baristas. Can’t wait to come back.
It’s well decorated and comfortable inside, the service was very welcoming, but the coffee was definitely not what I expected for a place with a large neon sign that says “a coffee philosophy” the espresso shots they were pulling tasted VERY bitter and burnt. Definitely not the place to be for a specialty coffee drinker who really enjoys tasting the notes and flavors of a good roast. More people seemed to enjoy the flavored and creamy drinks that mask the actual taste of the coffee. I would say it’s over-priced but that seems to be the trend at every café like this in San Diego. Overall a great looking space with some improvements needed from the baristas.
