Island Prime

My wife and I were in San Diego to celebrate her birthday. To keep things short, we received an Awesome welcome from Ashley, from the time we entered the restaurant, until we left. She made sure we were enjoying the celebration. My wife and I were given the best seats in the house. Although there is not a bad view anywhere in the restaurant.

Our Server Enrique was attentive and infomative. Although the menu may be limited, the quality and taste were what you would expect at an upscale restaurant.

It was so nice to be out near the water on the bay. Island Prime is serving a limited pop-up menu on the "barge" next to Costerra. You must wear a mask entering and if you get up to use the restroom. Otherwise you can take your mask off while at the table. The staff set a great example by wearing masks the entire time. And the food is fantastic! You won't even mine the limited choices. We ordered the Bouillabaisse and Filet Mignon. And don't pass up the duo of chocolate for dessert!

I wanted a nice place to propose and the Island Prime was perfect!! The staff was great at helping out with the flowers I had delivered and even gave us a free dessert! The view is amazing and after dinner we went in to C level for a cocktail on the open patio! We will definitely be back anytime we are in San Diego. Thanks Island Prime!!!!
