Kalei’s Kitchenette

So impressed with what they've done in so little time. Chef Andy has made a smooth transition from caterer to brick and mortar. Exceptional food, as he has always had. Still my fave loco moco anywhere. We're now looking for excuses to go to that area of San Diego. 😁

I’ve eaten here twice. The food is great the atmosphere so cute. First time I had the two entrée plate and the second time I got musubi to go. I loved the musubi…. $4.00 each I had 2 and was stuffed! My favorite was the crispy garlic chicken! I’ll be back!

We found this place recently and it just opened up! The food is real good and great portions. Everything we got was tasty, the huli huli chicken, and teriyaki beef. And the haupia/ purple yam bar was yum also love to try the other dishes !

You guys need to come check out this amazing gem of a place. They have been killin it in the Catering Game for years and finally a store front! Whatever they conjure up from the kitchen is bound to be a gastronomic feast but i am a die hard for their Garlic Chicken. Marinated chicken cutlets then deep fried with an amazing sauce and cripsy garlic bits... i seriously dream about it in between getting my fix of Kalei's. Carmel Mountain, you are so lucky to have this gem of a place. Quality food, prepared with care, brimming with love and passion. So Ono!!! ❤
