Kumo

Got the chicken katsu combo with red pickeld ginger sauce and the menchi (ground beef and pork) katsu combo with katsu sauce. The combo comes with two scoops of egg salad and your choice of green tea or black tea in addition to the sandwiches

The egg salad was a bit too salty for my tastes. I feel like I need bread to cut the saltiness. The sandwiches were good. They were juicy, tender and crispy on the outside.

Service was a bit slow. It took about 20 minutes to get our order.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food I ordered at Kumo. My favorite was the strawberry and grape, cream one. This was my introduction to chicken Katsu and I was pleased. The egg sandwiches is something I could’ve easily made myself. Honestly, all of the sandwiches are easily recreatable. I would love to come back but the price points are too steep for what it is. I came during the day and parking wasn’t the easiest. I definitely want to recreate these sandwiches myself. The presentation was nice. Staff was friendly. Good experience. Most likely won’t come back.

We were looking forward for this place to one opened. We got chicken katsu and the menchi katsu, a kara-age and a boba. The chicken in the sandwich was too salty but the menchi katsu was good. Kara-age was average.The pickled ginger was super tasty. Although the boba was very disappointing, the boba balls were clumped together. Overall, I think it’s pricy then what it should be.

So excited to try Kumo! The egg sando was very good, probably my favorite. I also really liked the fruit and cream one. I thought it was really refreshing tasting. The service was very good and quick. It's definitely worth trying them out!
