La Palapa Taco Shop

This place is great. I had the mini tacos and they were big for street tacos. I had the carnitas, pollo asada and fish taco. All were great. Give this place a try. Excellent business for the neighborhood.

A good place highly recommend it. Ordered buffalo fries the other day and they were really good and well cooked. Good and efficient service.

I've been in this neighborhood for a little over 4 years and have watched this taco shop change ownership quite a few times. THANKFULLY.... we finally have a winner! Looking forward to going back and trying more. I got two tacos, pollo and carne... with guacamole and a fresh salsa. Guac was amazing! I'm usually a green salsa fan but their red was on point!!!! Sooo good.
Grams likes chile relleno so I'm going to have to try that next and the ole favorite of mine rolle tacos! #ilovetacos

This place is way better than it used to be. The new management/owners are doing it right. Good portions at a good price. The food is tasty. So glad to have a good neighborhood taco shop again!

It’s a new restaurant on Moraga Avenue where El Rey used to be. The food itself was decent, the fries were pretty good although a bit stingy on the portion (it cost around $10). And I expected more to be in the frieThe carne asada has an interesting spicy taste and it is cut very thinly unlike carne asada from other Mexican restaurants. I hope they can improve and will update my review when I check back later.
