DO NOT ask for spicy! Spicy shrimp burrito was habenaero heat, no joke. Omg my mouth from one small bite was on fire! And my husband and I enjoy spicy. They really should emphasize how hot this really is, you'll go to the hospital. If not for that it would have been very good. We got an abodobo burrito as well very delicious, but I just can't get over the spicy shrimp I have half the mind to call and complain bc idk who could have ate that!!

Excellent carnitas which I rarely get but it was amazingly flavorful. I’m planning on trying some other menu items.

This place is very welcoming. We were given a free taco right when we walked in. The staff was extremely friendly. We ordered 4 carne asada tacos, hibiscus, and chips. The wrong tacos came out. Simple mistake. The staff gladly swapped out our tacos. The second round came out fast. The tacos are amazing. They're the real deal. Not that fake stuff. Must have. The hibiscus was fresh and sweet. The tortilla chips were fresh and crunchy. Overall great place. Very clean everything. My only complaint is the self-serve salsa bar. It took me forever to get my salsas, onions, cilantro, and limes. I had to make many trips to the bar. Other than that, 100% would recommend. Very friendly!

Simply the best Mexican food ever.

Brand new but already feels like a well-run establishment. Outside tables are dog-friendly! Great selection of seafood. Carnitas is their specialty. Friendly staff! Easy walking distance from La Jolla downtown village area. Looking forward to watching their popularity grow! Check them out while the lines are still short.
