I honestly have no idea whether I will encourage readers of this review to get food from them or simply gross everybody out. But here goes.
My previous review basically outlined everything I need to say about this place, so look for it and take a gander if you get a chance. I still feel more or less the same as before.
Besides Yelp's Big Night In, there were several reasons why we chose to order dinner from this particular business.
- We wanted food that we missed having.
- The food is straight to the point rather than "fancy". But don't get me wrong, we enjoy "fancy" every once in a while. Just not tonight.
- It's very affordable.
- No frills.
- It's filling.
- They recently resumed operations and is open for takeout.
We had the crispy chicken leg over rice, duck lo mein, beef "stir-egg" (which is basically an "omelet" with beef embedded), and my personal go-to, the combination pork blood porridge (THAT'S the moment which by the mention of it should make many of you cringe with disgust).
All that food I ordered did not take long to package for us. I was about to say that it didn't take long to prepare, but some of it might have actually took hours and was just loaded upon ordering. They told me 15 minutes, and when I got there in less time, it was ready anyways.
It was a night where I had just come home from a hard day's work, and I probably did not have much energy and patience to call a place in that much advance for a night like this. Minh Ky absolutely pulled through.
I am satisfied by the precautions and measures taken in order to protect both the employees and the patrons.

chinese food and service here is quality. arrived at six, it was not packed. next time i'll be back with my relatives. the bill was good for how much you get.
This place is a hidden gem. My optometrist recommended it just today and I already went. The staff were inviting and everyone there seemed happy to be there.
The soups that I tried were delicious, and the iced french coffee with condensed milk was very good as well. I will definitely be back.
great little resto with delicious Chinese and Singapore cuisine. always packed. always sumptuous. A true gem of food in the neighborhood. my favorite, pepper salty pork
