The best Italian food in SD, and most definitely my favorite home made sauce! Service is excellent too! Won't go anywhere else for pizza or marinara/meat marinara sauce. Tha BEST!
One of the best delis in all of San Diego. By far the best Turkey sandwich I have had in my 14 years in SD. Great market for everything you need. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and make great recommendations(especially on cheeses/meats). The restaurant has the best gnocchi in little Italy and amazing pepperoni pizza. I bring a pepperoni pizza to events and people always comment on how delicious it is- “where did you get this!??”. Many options in Little Italy, but Mona Lisa always seems to be the best. Extremely consistent. Love this place.
I have heard really good reviews about this place but am honestly not sure why. It is good but it is not the best pasta I have ever had. The portions are relatively tiny for the price but somehow still fill you up! one plate per person should be plenty! We also got a Chicken Milanese to try and it was tasty but would have loved a sauce with it or something to soften it up! Will probably be return because the food was good and prepared on time!
My number one choice for Italian food in the area! The complimentary garlic bread alone deserves 5 stars. Plus the pasta, ravioli, and pizzas = 5++++! Everything taste authentic and homemade. All the sauces are great. Portions are generous. There are always left overs for me which I really enjoy because that means I get to eat it again for my next meal.
We ordered a veggie pizza and a sausage pizza, with a antipasto salad. Delivery was prompt. The pizza was very good - extremely cheesy. The salami and ham in the salad was very thick. Not necessarily a bad thing - just an observation.
